Bluefin Trading, the first Firm in the Bluefin Companies, was founded in 2001.
Initially, the firm focused on ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) market-making & trading on the American Stock Exchange and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. After gaining a solid foothold in the equity and equity derivative markets, Bluefin expanded to equity option market making and initiated energy derivatives trading at the New York Mercantile Exchange in 2002. This led an expansion into the commodity markets with trading in the energy, agricultural and metals markets in NY and Chicago, giving the Firm a strong position for the Commodity ETF boom that began in 2006. The firm also moved into the European and Asian equity derivative markets. Over the next few years, Bluefin continued to develop new trading strategies and has made a substantial commitment to trading in fixed income and statistical arbitrage.
In 2009, Bluefin further diversified by building its Institutional Sales & Trading businesses. Today, the Bluefin Companies are a well diversified mix of Market-Making/Trading and Institutional Sales & Trading businesses, with offices in New York, Chicago, London, and Hong Kong.

We offer both floor-based direct access and upstairs sales/traders for instantaneous order execution as well as market color and thoughtful trading ideas.
CCM provides customers execution, clearing and custody solutions for a wide range of products through our Introducing Broker relationships. We have partnered with Goldman Sachs Execution & Clearing, J.P. Morgan Clearing Corp, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, ABN AMRO and Rosenthal Collins.
